I write to acknowledge receipt of your Freedom of Information request dated 13 December 2023.
At the date of your enquiry the college held no shares directly in any of the companies.
At the date of your enquiry the college held interest in index funds to the value of £6.9m. The fund in question was Vanguard ESG Developed World All Cap Equity Index Fund and information on that fund’s full composition is available at www.vanguardinvestor.co.uk/investments/v… such that the exemption in section 21 FOIA applies.
If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of this decision, you should write to the Senior Bursar, Gonville & Caius College, Trinity Street, Cambridge, CB2 1TA who will then assign an appropriate person to conduct the internal review. If subsequently you are not content with the outcome of your complaint, you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the Information Commissioner cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints procedure provided by the College.
